ISTT Participates in the 22<sup>nd</sup> ASPA Annual Conference in Russia

The 22nd Annual Conference of the Asian Science Park Association (ASPA) was held in Vladivostok, Russia from 3rd to 5th October, 2018 under the theme of ‘Impact of global trends on the development of Asian STPs’.
The Director of International affairs at Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT), Mozhgan Yazdianpour, attended the conference on ISTT’s behalf. ISTT’s President has a seat on the Board of Directors of ASPA and thus his representative participated in the conference to both partake in the conference activities and the annual ASPA Board of Directors Meeting.
The conference incorporated 2 plenary and 11 parallel sessions for knowledge and experience sharing. ISTT’s representative participated in the plenary session titled “Asian STPs. New Infrastructure, New Services, New Sectors” and 2 parallel sessions titled “Socializing science parks as a networking platform for its residents” and “Attraction of investment, Rules of the game”.
This year the 35th ASPA Board of Directors meeting convened at Lotte Hotel Vladivostok on the 3rd of October. The board of directors was informed about the current status of ASPA members, upcoming events and also discussed ASPA’s future plans.
